After meeting the students of AY05, they made me realize many things about life. When I was in my Elementary and High School days, I wasn't really that close to my classmates. I don't interact with them that much and I don't know how will I talk to them. But then, College Life has come. I'm afraid that history might repeat itself. I'll become a loner again and just have to get used to it. But everything's different, instead of being a "forever alone" they approached me and tried to know more about me.
At first, I don't know how to act infront of them but when I came to know more about them I can slowly understand the meaning of friendship. The bonds that we shared together, the laughter, the sadness and hardships; These are all the things that I experienced with them that I don't want to forget. That's why I'm lucky to be able to meet them. I want to thank them for teaching me these lessons. :)

Psychology: The power of reading minds
If I'm not taking the course that I had right now, I would like to take the course "Psychology".

I describe myself as an "introvert", the one's who doesn't simply speak out what's on their mind. Because of that, I'm having a hard time interacting to other people. But when I read the articles about Psychology, I came to understand a lot of things.
After reading an article about Psychology, I learned that every single thing that people do have significance on what they are thinking. I learned to be more open-minded and try to understand the reason why they act like that. So, by being able to understand them, I would be able to learn more about them.
Like in the saying : "The brain is wider than the sky" by Emily Dickinson. A lot of things are going through our mind. We think about different things all the time. Our mind is really amazing to be able to do that. It really entices me to study Psychology just by thinking about that. I just hope that one day, I would be able to study it more.

Pitogo High School: Junior Senior Promenade
Junior Senior Promenade or simply called J.S. Prom is a night of elegance where in students gather and enjoy the night with them wearing formal attires. It really is an exciting night for everyone most especially for the seniors because it would be their last year. I'm not really in to that kind of event because I'm more of a computer person. I'm not confident in my social skills and I never really wear formal suites more of I don't have any of them. But I didn't expect that I'll be joining in the last minute. I'm only the last one left that wouldn't be joining that event so I had no choice but to join because they forced me to.
It was the last day of practice when I joined. I didn't really know what they're doing and what's going on so I attended the so-called event without any preparation. I borrowed my dress from my Aunt and I let "Ate Kenneth" (my classmate Kaira's older sister) do my make-up. So, I arrived the event at 4:30 and waited for the event to start. My classmates are shocked when I met them. They are surprised on my appearance. On normal days, I always tie my hair up and dresses simple but on that day, it's the complete opposite. I didn't know what to feel on that day. Maybe it really wasn't a bad thing to join there.
The event had started. They turned on the music and people started to dance. I'm really shy to dance so I just sit down in our table and waited for time to pass by slowly. As I observe the people, they really are having fun dancing. As the music turns into a romantic song, the mood becomes more intense. They become quiet for a while but you can see that they really are serious. So an hour has passed and I just slept all the time. I just waited for dinner time. After we ate, the fun resumes. Of course, I didn't dance and just slept. Even though my classmates keep pestering me to dance, I keep turning them down. To be honest, I'm not feeling well at that day. I just want to watch them enjoying the fun.
So the night was a success. Even if I didn't do anything, I had fun at that night! :D

My favorite J-Pop Singer is YUI. Her name is not officially confirmed. She was born in Fukuoka, Japan and grew up in single-parent family. She said that when she was young, she had been fond of Music and thought that she'll become a singer one day.

I didn't attend the first two weeks of my College Days because I'm undergoing through medications. I'm really afraid that I might be left out on our class but I really can't go to school. I had no choice but to stay at home and wait for time to pass by.
July 23, 2012:
Time sure flies fast. I'll be having my first day at class. My brother who also studies at Mapua guided me inside the campus. Before we go to the classroom, we went to the Clinic to get my Medical Certificate. But then I realized it's already 9:15 am that time and I'm late in my first class. I bid farewell to my brother and I tried to walk as fast as I can. Luckily, the teacher just got inside. I didn't enter immediately because I'm too nervous. Few minutes passed and I entered the room. I walk straight to the teacher without gazing my classmates and presented my Medical Certificate. And then, I sit down to the empty chair infront waiting for the class to start.
At first, I really thought that they are all serious. In our first class, they are just quietly listening to the professor. But then after the first class, they started to go wild. They throw funny jokes at each other, tease each other and laughs enthusiastically. Even though I didn't had the chance to talk to them at that day, I think that I'll be having fun in this class. :D

Character Review : Light Yagami (Death Note)
The Plot:
The series "Death Note" created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata has become popular for those Anime and Manga Fans because of its awesome and unique plot. The story follows with the protagonist "Light Yagami", a 17-year old genius student who is bored with his life. One day while looking out the window of his class, he saw a black Notebook fall out of the sky. After his class ended, he picked up the book from where it landed and surprisingly saw the front page entitled "Death Note". When he opened the book, he read that the person whom he will write shall die. At first, he thought it was just a prank but he ends up taking home the Notebook and writes down the criminal shown on TV. To his surprise, the man died as he wrote its name on the Notebook. Light then realized the amazing possibilities when he continue to judge those criminals. He will eradicate all evil people in the world until the world is populated with those people whom he judge to be righteous to live. Creating a world filled with justice and he'll become the God of his new world.

Student Life
As a student, we encounter various problems. The quizzes are hard, assignments are too many, teachers sometimes are too hard on us etc. Dealing with these problems sure is a great deal. But if there's a problem, there's a solution for it.
The most common problem that we encounter as a student is Financial Crisis. We don't have enough money to provide the things that we need like books, study materials etc. Also, there are too many things that we have to pay like contributions in group work,study materials etc . Most of the allowance that we had was spent on those and there are less money to save. So for that problem, the nest solution would be consuming money wisely. You just have to spend your money on the things that you have to buy. Let us not waste money on things that we will not use. You have to think through things before considering to buy it.
Next is Time Management. We spend almost half of our day at school. After going to school, you have loads of works to do. You have a pending project, an assignment that you have to pass the day after and so on and forth. While having stress over this problems, there comes the house chores. You are tasked to do those house chores and if you don't you'll parents will get mad at you. Only half of the day was left and you don't know what to do first. The solution for that is to ask for help. Tell them what you are going through. If you just ask nicely, I think they'll help you.
Lastly, School Issues. We are having a hard time on school. The quizzes and lessons are hard and there's loads of homework and projects. It is really stressful at school. To overcome those problems, you just have to stay calm. If the lessons are hard, you just have to ask on things that you didn't get. And once you got it, you'll have no problems on quizzes. Just like my Biology teacher said: "Don't problem the problem". Don't just think on how hard to do it, you must also do something about it. Thinking too much will just stress you out. We have to remain calm and think of a solution.

The Plot:
The story is about Mashiro Moritaka, a talented student but doesn't know what to do in his future and Takagi Akito, the top student at their school who wants to make a manga but doesn't have a talent in drawing. One day, Mashiro drew a picture of his crush "Azuki Miho" during his class and forgot it at school. Because he is embarrassed to show it to others, he came back to school finding the most intelligent student in their class Takagi waiting for him together with his notebook. Takagi tried to convince Mashiro to team up with him and aim to become a Manga Artist but Mashiro declined.
After arriving at home, he think about his Uncle who was once became a successful Manga Artist but later on died while trying to maintain his profession. Mashiro was interrupted by a phone call from Takagi who said that he will go to Azuki's house to confess. Mashiro runs down to Azuki's house and saw Takagi waiting for him. When they met Azuki, Takagi told her that Azuki they are aiming to become a Manga Artist. Mashiro learns that Azuki is also aiming to become a seiyuu (Voice Actress) and said that she will be rooting for them. While Mashiro thinks about his uncle again, he bluntly told Azuki that when their Manga became an Anime, she will voice the heroine and after that they will Marry each other. He accidentally proposes to Azuki who also accepted his proposal. Having their agreement, the two of them will aim for their dreams without seeing each others until the time that their dreams became reality.
Reaction to the series:
The story was unique and one of the kind. The art was also good and have a good combination to the theme of the story. Every chapter of the manga, you can feel the excitement of the story. It has a wonderful plot and most of all, the ending was amazing and romantic. You can learn a lot of things in this manga. To sum it up, it is an amazing manga.
The series was already completed and it has already an Anime Adaptation. Having 176 chapters and 3 seasons of Anime, why don't you try this series? I'm sure you'll never regret it.

Music is one of the greatest entertainment nowadays. There are various kinds of music depending on its genre. One of my favorite genre is hardcore music. And the band "Silverstein", has caught my attention. Silverstein is a Canadian post-hardcore band formed in the year 2000 (source from Wikipedia). They based their band name to a famous children's author "Shel Silverstein" whom they admired when they were young. The band has now became successful having 5 albums released.
What I like in this band is their great music. They have an amazing guitarist "Neil Boshart", drummer "Paul Koehler", bass guitarist "Josh Bradfort", backing vocalist "Billy Hamilton", and not to mention the lead vocalist "Shane Told". Each of them showcased their talent in their music. The lyrics are also good and has a good meaning on it. And if you combine them, it produces an awesome song.

December 21, 2012 : The Judgement Day
Different Beliefs rooted from different religions.Religion has vastly influenced every aspects of our lives. The way we think and the way was influenced by our religion. Would you believe if they say that the world is going to end?
The hottest talk these day are the upcoming Judgement Day. They said that the world will end in December 21,2012. Of course we wouldn't want that to happen right? There are a lot of things that we want to accomplish. They based this theory on the specific dates on the bible. It would be a hard task but they have a proof.

Of course these evidences sure makes sense. Also, they based it on the bible so we have to believe it because it's the word of God. But what I can say is, He didn't directly said it. The Great Flood Struck in 4990 B.C.
Family Radio president Howard Camping determined the date of the flood by cobbling together information from the Bible. Starting with the exodus of the Jews out of Egypt, commonly thought to have occurred in 1447 B.C., he counted back through each generation to form a timeline, reaching the year 4990 B.C. for the flood.

Seven Days’ Warning of the Great Flood

The great flood occurred on 17 Iyar of the then standard Hebrew calendar, which 7,000 years later corresponds to May 21 in 2011.

But many nonbelievers of the prediction, particularly religious ones, refute Family Radio’s claims using other biblical evidence. After all, would God truly reveal his plans in a calculated manner?

Pitogo High School has its own reputation. It has been one of the best public school in Makati. It won't loose in both academic and extracurricular activities. In terms of academic excellency, it always place high in National Achievement Test and Division Achievement Test. Also, in competitions like Math Quiz bee and Science Quiz bee, Pitogo High School also places in regional and national competitions. Not to mention, our school has successfully reached the international level in competitions like Robotics and Research Club. This proves that we aren't just for looks.
A closer look to the inside, even if we lack materials and facilities, it doesn't get way it our studies. The teachers here makes sure that we will be able to learn efficiently. They will out most do their best in order to provide us the things that we need.
Bad habits over Good Habits
Habits are routines that we usually repeat regularly. Everyone has a their own habit, a good one or a bad one. These habits affects our lives in different ways. It may do good things to us or the opposite.
One of my habits is playing games and surfing the net. Even though my parents always scold me, I always do what I wanted to do. I only realize that I was wrong after doing it. Because I prioritize using computer instead of studying, sometimes I get less time to sleep and to study. That's why I have to control this habit. I must manage my schedule so that I could balance my time.
Not to mention, I also have a good habit. I always do things ahead of time. When I have assignments and projects, I always finish it before doing anything so that i wouldn't get away on what I'm doing. One example is I always clean the house before using computer so that my parents won't mock me when I'm playing games. It is really nice that I have this habit because I won't have to rush. So in order to sustain this good habit, I have to perform it all the time. It's not that hard because it's a "habit", the one's we always do.

When I have assignments and projects, I always finish it before doing anything so that i wouldn't get away on what I'm doing. One example is I always clean the house before using computer so that my parents won't mock me when I'm playing games. It is really nice that I have this habit because I won't have to rush. So in order to sustain this good habit, I have to perform it all the time. It's not that hard because it's a "habit", the one's we always do.

It's Adventure Time!
What entices me to watch adventure time is it's cool fighting scenes, awesome graphics as well as the cute art. The story doesn't follow an actual plot but every episode is amazing. It may seems to be nonsensical and random, if you observe carefully you will notice there's more meaning on it. Just like in the episode where Finn vows to help everyone in need because of an incident when he was still a baby; he was stuck on a leaf with a "boom-boom" so no one dared to help him except for Jake's parents. This scene is very similar to the parable "The Good Samaritan".The show doesn't only showcase random scenes, it also enlightens us in a very interesting manner. That's what I like in this show.

(a) For the Navigation button, we use W in moving forward, S for backward, A for turning left and D for turning right.
(b) As for attacking,we use right click for special attack and left click for normal attack.
(c) In jumping, just click space and for picking up items, we click F.
(d) There is dedicated slot for your skills. Just click the number in your numpad on which the dedicated skill is allotted.
(e) Also, we move and scroll the mouse for changing the view for your comfort.

You are an adventurer. You have to do your missions and finish your quests. Missions are done in dungeons. To complete your quest and earn exp, you must clear the dungeon and defeat the boss.To enter dungeons, just follow the arrow on the right screen. It will point where your quest is. Before entering, you can pick the difficulty of the dungeon (easy, normal, hard, master and abyss). Some missions require certain difficulty so better check first before entering.
3. Skills
You have to set your skills so you can easier finish the dungeons and quests. Every level you are given an SP (skill points) for you to learn your skills. You can pick whether you will make your character learn the skill or not because some skills may not be necessary for your job class.
4. Jobs
When you reach level 15, you will have to pick a 2nd job for your character. You will decide between 2 jobs.Each job specializes on certain skill or weapon so you better pick on what you really want. Your can pick again your next job after you reach level 45.
5. Nests
If you're not quite satisfied by dungeons. There is a more thrilling place you can go to; the nest. The monster are stronger and the clearing the dungeon is much harder.

It's Supernatural!
If I would be given a chance to pick a Supernatural Powers then I would like to have a Mental Power. You have to ability to read minds, manipulate someone, psychokinesis, telepathy etc. They say that brains beat brawls. Even if you do not have super strength, you just have to out-brain them.
In those situation were people were given that kind of gift, people miss use it and use it to surpass others. Instead of using it help others you'll use it for your selfish intents. Like in the saying "With great powers comes great responsibility"; We better have to use it wisely. It would not benefit you to use it for evil intents thus it would bring misfortune.
Dreams and Reality :)
Everyone has a dream. Even if it's small or big, it is our desire to make it happen. No matter how long we dream of it, nothing will change if we don't act. If you want your dreams to became reality, then you should do something about it.

I may not have the artistic skills, it is my goal to achieve it. As long as I keep believing in myself, I know I can do it. Iron Man (Movie Review)
Have you ever wonder what the future looks like? When I hear the word "future", words like technology, robots and machines pops out in my mind. So, how about you? How do you picture the future in your mind?
(The Plot)
What enticed me to watch Iron Man is because it depicts what the future might looks like. The technology there is advance. Robots are now in handy. The story follows with the main character Tony Stark, the CEO of a large industrial company "Stark Industries" which produces different military weapons. While demonstrating his new made weapon "Jericho",they were ambushed by a group of terrorist called "Ten Rings" and Tony was critically wounded. He passed out and wakes up inside a cave having an electromagnet in his chest that keeps the shrapnel that wounded him from reaching his heart. It was built by his fellow captive named "Yinsen". After that, the leader of the "Ten Rings" Raza offers Stark his freedom exchange for the Jericho Missile. Stark and Yinsen doubted that Raza will not keep his word so without the Terrorist knowing, they built a suit of armor to escape. After discovering their plan, the terrorist attacked the workshop. Yinsen sacrificed his life in order for Stark to escape. He burned down the terrorist's munition and he flies away. After returning, he announced to the public that his company will no longer manufacture weapons. Obadiah Stane, the company manager refused to his decision but Stark didn't listen. In his home, he improved further his armor suit creating itself a destructive weapon. He was labelled as the "Iron Man".

College life: The Beginning of a New Life
"College is the best time of your life. When else are your parents going to spend several thousand dollars a year just for you to go to a strange town and get drunk every night?"

Our teacher taught us the meaning of life in our Elementary days . In our High School days, the teacher prepares us to the challenges that we would face. And now that we're in College, a new challenge was unfold. It isn't very easy as those in earlier days. We have to be responsible now because there is no easy way out in College life.
I learned a lot of things now that I'm in College like:
(1) Unlike in our Elementary days,we take our challenges as a serious deal. I was just an happy-go-lucky person back then until I came to realize that I have to face life with more responsibility.
(2) We have to learn from our mistakes and develop it further. Committing mistakes just once is enough for us to learn from it.
(3) You will have to work hard on your grades because you will have to show it on your job interviews.
(4) Your parents are spending a lot of money on your studies so don't take it for granted.
(5) Just like Francis Bacon said :“It's not what we eat but what we digest that makes us strong; not what we gain but what we save that makes us rich; not what we read but what we remember that makes us learned; and not what we profess but what we practice that gives us integrity.” it means that the process of learning is the key on how we would understand the lesson. We must understand it fully for us to learn and apply it.
(6) It is important to keep intact with your friends. You might need their help in some of your problems.
(7) Manage your time. You must use your time wisely.
(8) Never forget to do your assignment. Surprise recitation might be possible.
(9) Take down notes the important things that the teacher says.
(10) Believe in yourself. Have a confidence that you will be able to pass the challenges that you will face.
